The company is set to show off all of its new software – as well as some other new products – at its Worldwide Developer Conference. And now it has confirmed that the opening event will take place on 13 June, in San Francisco. The company has moved the usual opening keynote to the much larger Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, potentially signalling that even more announcements than usual are set to be made. Among the widely-anticipated announcements are the revealing of iOS 10, the operating system for iPhones and iPads. Apple will also show off the new version of OS X – and probably change its name to macOS, in line with the rest of its operating systems.
The company holds its big announcement keynote at the beginning of the conference – 13 June. The rest of the week is then mostly made up of talks for developers, about how to use the technologies revealed at the conference.
