The handset, which was the first to feature Apple's fingerprint scanner, was released in September 2013 but is still more popular than newer devices two years later. Apple's 8GB iPhone 5c, which was recently discontinued, beat Samsung's flagship Galaxy S6 Edge and the 64GB version of the iPhone 6s. However, Samsung did manage to outclass Apple in the phablet stakes, in both size and popularity. The 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 4 outsold the 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus, which doesn't feature in the top 10 at all. Apple also dominated the Christmas bestseller list. |
