Other iOS 10 rumors also loom as the new software is expected to be released in the summer of 2016. According to the UK website Macworld, Apple will raise the security for iOS 10 by creating a new system called rootless. This will make it impossible to jailbreak iOS 9 and gain access to iOS 10 functions. That theory has been crushed by reports hackers have been able to figure out a jailbreak for iOS 9.
Apple has been working hard to fix bugs in its system and block hackers. Shortly after the iOS 9 release Apple had to clean up its App Store, which was infected with the XcodeGhost malware. The malware infected almost 50 apps including WeChat, NetEase Cloud Music, WinZip, Didi Chuxing, Railway 12306, China Unicom Mobile Office and Tonghuashun. According to Macrumors.com, devices infected with XcodeGhost malware can have information copied, encrypted and uploaded data to command and control (C2) servers run by hackers through the HTTP protocol.
